Terry Glispin:
Flesh

The Fugitive Art Center presents Flesh, a sculpture exhibit by Terry Glispin, in its gallery at 440 Houston Street. The exhibit opens April 3, 1999, and runs through the 30th. An opening reception will be held April 3rd from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m.

Terry Glispin's work addresses issues of sex and personal identity. It employs a wide variety of media such as plastics, vinyl, cast rubber, iron, aluminum, and kinetic elements. Mr. Glispin earned his MFA from the University of Georgia, Athens GA, in 1997. His work has shown recently at Notre Dame University, DeKalb Community College in Atlanta GA, Geffen Contemporary in Los Angeles (with Mel Chin), the Kansas City Art Center, and the Korean Biennial, Seoul Korea.
