Fugitive Art Center presents an exhibition by Jim Buonaccorsi. The exhibit opens
3 February 2001 and will run until 10 March 2001. There will be an opening reception Saturday, 3 February, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Jim Buonaccorsi is an associate professor at the Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Georgia, Athens. He received an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1984. Over the past twenty years, he has had numerous exhibits around the country and has received much recognition.

Professor Buonaccorsi&rsqo;s work is large scale and usually composed of welded steel and cast metals. The work is geometric and iconic with frequent architectural references. All of his work issues from a strong conceptual foundation.
